Takefuji Corporation announced today that Mr. Akira Kiyokawa, an Advisor of Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. will be joining to Takefuji Corporation and named for New representative President upon the formal approval of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 27, 2002 and the following resolution by the Board of Directors meeting.
Mr. Yasuo Takei, Chairman CEO and President, will continue to act as Chairman and CEO.

Mr. Akira Kiyokawa, 60 years old who was born in Fukuoka Pref. and is presently Advisor of Nomura Securities Co., Ltd.
He had previously 3 times presidency post, firstly The Nomura Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. from Aug. 1993 to June 1999, secondly The Nomura Securities Investment Trust Co., Ltd. from June 1999 to Nov. 2000 and thirdly Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. from Nov. 2000 to Apr. 2002.
Mr. Kiyokawa joined Nomura Securities Company Limited in Apr. 1964 and served as General Manager for Sales Planning Dept. and Public Relations before he was assigned as director in 1985.
A graduate of Chuo University in Tokyo(1964), he holds a Bachelor of laws.
