His personal history is hereunder mentioned.    Born on February 28, 1941 in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo and joined Ministry of Finance in 1964. In Ministry, served mainly on Tax, Banks and Securities Bureaus. In 1981 was dispatched to Japanese Embassy in the U.S.A as counselor, and in 1988 was appointed Director of Co-ordination Division in Securities Bureau. Took office as Comptroller of Tokyo Stock Exchange and Councilor of the Minister's Secretariat in charge of Securities Bureau in July 1990, and as Director-General of Printing Bureau in June 1992. Assumed office as Managing Director of Electric Power Development Company in June 1993, as President of Mortgage Securities Depository Corporation in July 1998 and as Vice President of Osaka Securities Exchange in April 2001.
