Announcement of ATM Network Tie-up with IY Bank Cash-and-repay is available at 51,885 outlets of our own and tie-up ATMs |
Tokyo, June 10, 2002 ---Takefuji Corporation (the "Company") today announced that it concluded an agreement with IY Bank Co., Ltd. (IY Bank) regarding ATM services.
This service, scheduled to start from coming August, allows our cardholders to cash and repay for 24 hours and 365 days at 3,850 IY Bank ATMs mainly available in Seven-Eleven and Ito-Yokado. We believe the service will greatly contribute to our customers' convenience of using our loans.
The tie-up this time will also allow our customers to cash and repay through ATMs set up in convenience stores. Since this cash-and-repay service through ATMs at convenience stores is not available currently, we believe it will significantly improve our services because our wide and solid network of totaling 51,885 outlets, the breakdown of which is 3,850 new outlets and the existing 48,035 outlets composed of 2,041 our own ATMs, 27,402 tie-up ATMs/CDs and 18,592 repayment outlets in convenience stores, shall be available to our customers.
As we have been paying much attention to development of convenience store payment service from the beginning stage, so we will continue enrich our services more and more in line with our corporate mission of "Customer First" ever since its foundation.
