Issuance of Co-branded credit cards "Flower Laboratory Card" and
"Hanayume-kan Card" 


Takefuji Corporation ("the Company") has established the business tie-up with two horticulture businesses, Florist Corona Inc. (President Mr. Masayuki Takahashi) and Flower"Mizuri "Inc. (President Mr. Masaharu Fujita). Corona is engaged in business in extensive areas of Osaka and Hyogo prefectures, and "Mizuri"is based in Gifu prefecture. The tie-up on this occasion enables the Company to issue the co-branded credit cards, employing the system that"Watari"Inc. (President Mr. Mitsuaki Okeya) is using for their credit card business - sharing points among group companies. These cards are nicknamed "Flower Laboratory Card" and "Hanayume-kan Card" respectively, and the issuance of them will start on 15th October 2004.


1. Purpose
  The Company combines the Watari's point card business and Takefuji's credit card business for the purpose of providing high quality and community-based customer services jointly. As a part of these services, each store of Corona will issue "Flower Laboratory Card" in Osaka and Hyogo, whereas branches of "Mizuri" and "Hanayume-kan"will issue "Hanayume-kan Card"in Gifu.

Both cards provide customers with an access to the Company's on-line payment and Watari's point system, thereby offering handy and rewarding bargain. The Company aims to win 10,000 accounts over three years within the horticulture market, and continues to expand issuing region and member stores for better service.
