(President Mr. Ryoichiro Tanaka), and two companies have agreed to issue the co-branded credit card, employing the system that "Watari" Inc. (President Mr. Mitsuaki Okeya) is using for their credit card business - point sharing service among group companies. The Company is to start receiving applications for the new card membership on November 1st, 2004. 1. Purpose   The Company combines the business of each partner, taxicab business of DAIICHI KOUTSU SANGYO Group, the point sharing business of Watari Inc. and the credit card business of Takefuji itself to provide community-based high quality customer services jointly. To start with, the "DAIICHI KOUTSU SANGYO Group LANS CARD" will be launched for Daiichi's customers in the areas such as Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka-shi and Hiroshima-shi, and the cardholders will enjoy valuable and rewarding point sharing service. The Company plans to promote this business model with other possible partners in addition to DAIICHI KOUTSU SANGYO Group, and gradually expand issuing regions and member stores for better service, thereby aiming to win 100,000 accounts over three years. 2.
