Under the alliance, applications for the co-branded credit card SYMONS Point Credit Card will be received from December 13, 2004. 1. Aim    The Company has been endeavoring to issue co-branded credit cards as a means of expanding its marketing channels to attract new customers. It is now tying up the points card business of SYMONS Co., Ltd. with its credit card business to provide community-based high quality customer services jointly. Applications will be received at Kosei Hire Co., Ltd. in Sapporo from December 13, and at Daichi-Hire Co., Ltd. in Obihiro in mid-December. After that, applications will also be received at Takefuji branches in each region of Hokkaido and members stores of SYMONS Co., Ltd.  This tie-up will result in a card that enables cardholders to collect points saved by shopping at various stores on one card and includes convenient services that are really worth having. In the future, the Company aims to extend a similar system nationwide and attract 30,000 credit card holders in three years. 2. Functions and benefits of SYMONS Point Credit Card   (1) Card function     Credit card function at all retailers that accept Mastercard Cashing function Payment method: Fixed amount revolving, lump-sum repayment acceptable (Repayment at Takefuji ATM and tie-up convenience stores )   (2) Point service     Cardholders save one point per 100 yen of card usage and can use on the basis of 1 point = 1 yen at stores participating in the SYMONS point network. An extra 0.3% of card shopping usage is added each month as SYMONS points.     *Points service is available at stores displaying the sticker on the right.   (3)Discount service on presentation of card     Various discount services are available at more than 40,000 hotels, restaurants, leisure centers and other retailers that are members of C-System and display the mark on the right.   (4)Compensation in case of loss or theft     Cardholders will be indemnified against losses as a result of missing cards or theft.   (5)Annual membership fee     Free life membership   (6) Card face     4.
