Money lenders that extend loans to individuals are required to become members of credit information agencies specified by the Prime Minister and to use personal credit information provided by the specified agencies once Articles 4 of the Amendment Law takes effect.
Takefuji became a member of the Japan Credit Information Reference Center Corp. (JICC), which was approved as a specified credit information agency by the Prime Minister in accordance with 13 of Articles 41 of Money Lending Business Law on March 11, 2010.
JICC exchanges information with the Credit Information center (CIC), which manages personal credit and lease-related information, in order to provide real-time loan status information.
We will rigorously ensure compliance to protest personal information.
